Part of a group of sexually transmitted infections, Genital warts are caused by a particular strain of HPV. They can cause pain, discomfort and itching and left untreated, can be spread to other people.

Using Condyline to clear genital warts restores health and normality to daily life and sex life.

Condyline is a prescription-only medication. Follow the advice of your doctor and read the patient information leaflet provided in the medication packet.

Before applying the Condyline solution, wash the affected area with soap and water and then dry well. The end of the applicator has a hole in it so when you dip the end into the bottle, do it enough for the hole to fill with solution. Apply this onto each wart, one at a time, and let it dry naturally. Make sure you don’t do more than 50 dips into the bottle, as only a small area should be treated at one time.

You should start your first treatment in the morning, and then repeat the process 12 hours later, and then twice a day for the next 2 days.

If you are showing symptoms for or being treated for genital warts then you should not engage in sexual contact with anyone because of the risk of passing it on and spreading the disease.

Condyline 0.5

Condyline contains the active ingredient of podophyllotoxin, which comes at a concentration of 0.5% in bottles of 3.5 ml.

The standard dose is six treatments over 3 days, for which you should not exceed unless told to do so by your doctor. If your warts have not disappeared or improved after the treatment then your doctor may tell you to repeat the treatment. However, you should ask for guidance first instead of taking action on your own.

If you forget to complete your Condyline treatment then simply apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it’s nearly time for your next dose then skip the forgotten one and move straight onto the next one.

If you use more Condyline than you should, or apply it in the wrong place then you should wash the area with soap and water. If someone happens to ingest some of the solution then contact your nearest doctor or emergency department as soon as possible.
