How does it compare to other pregnancy tests?
Most pregnancy tests have to be used after a missed period, but the First Response 6 Days Earlier pregnancy test is unique in that you don’t need to wait until you have a missed period. It can be used a whole 6 days before you expect your period to start, giving you the earliest possible peace of mind.
How do I use First Response 6 Days Earlier Pregnancy Test?
If you are taking the test before you expect your period to start then you should test the very first urine of the day. If you are using the test once you’ve already missed a period then you can use it at any time of day, but don’t drink lots of fluids before taking it.
To take the test, start by removing it from the foil packet and taking off the cap. You should not open it in advance and should use it immediately one you’ve unwrapped it.
There are two different methods for taking the test and you will need to decide beforehand which you would like to use. The first option is to hold the colour-changing tip in your urine stream for a full 5 seconds; the second option is to collect a urine sample in a small container and then immerse the colour changing tip in it for 20 seconds. The tip should have changed entirely pink by this point (on either method) and if it hasn’t then the test could be invalid.
Replace the cap and lie the stick flat, wait 3 minutes and then read your result. A line may appear very quickly but it’s important you only interpret the results after you have waited 3 full minutes. One line means that you are not pregnant. Two lines means you are pregnant, no matter how faint or dark the lines are. You should read your results within 10 minutes of taking the test and if the results change after this time frame then disregard this change.
