More information

Scholl Verruca Plasters is used in the treatment of verrucas. These are highly common and usually painless but can be unsightly.

Scholl Verruca Plasters contains salicylic acid which works by softening the skin, making the verruca easier to remove. It also helps to kill the virus that causes them in the first place.

Verrucas are small fleshy lumps of skin that appear exclusively on the soles of the feet. Verrucas are usually painless but can be unsightly and uncomfortable and treatment with Scholl Plasters is quick, easy and painless.

Follow the guidance given in the enclosed patient information leaflet and be sure to read it before commencing use of the medicine.

Ensure that the infected skin is clean and dry and then select a disc most similar in size to the verruca you are trying to treat. This is to minimise the risk of the active ingredient coming into contact with healthy skin.

Apply the disc by adhering the sticky side to the verruca and then fix a plaster over the top of the disc by removing it from the backing paper.

Leave in place for 48 hours and then remove, repeating the process for up to twelve weeks or until the verruca has disappeared.

Before taking this medication, you should always first check that it is suitable for you and any of your associated medical conditions. Do not take Scholl Verruca Plasters if:

  • If you are allergic to any of the ingredients or any similar medications
  • If you have diabetes
  • If you have poor circulation in the hands or feet
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

Take care with this product and do not get it on your eyes, mouth, nose, genitals, moles or birthmarks.

You should cease using Scholl Verruca Plasters immediately and contact your doctor if you experience any serious side effects or if you notice signs of an allergic reaction.

You can safely buy Scholl Verruca Plasters online at UK Meds, without the need for a prescription or consultation with a medical professional, however you should adhere to the advice given in the patient leaflet enclosed.
