A work sickness certificate is a verifiable document that is used to confirm a medical condition or illness is impacting your work to the point where you need to be absent. They are used when your employer requires a medical sickness certificate for evidence of a condition.

What will you receive?

With a UK Meds work sickness certificate you will receive a verifiable PDF letter that is signed by a registered healthcare professional. It will include details of you and your workplace, information about your condition and its symptoms, up to 7 days of sick leave and a signature from a registered healthcare professional. Included on the certificate is a QR code that is used to verify the document as well as your details.

How do you get a work sickness certificate?

It is easy to get a UK Meds work sickness certificate. Simply complete our online medical questionnaire that details your condition and symptoms and, when verified, you will receive your signed PDF work sickness certificate. 

What do you need to supply?

In order to receive a work sickness certificate you will need to provide the following:

• A completed medical questionnaire
• A photo of your work ID, passport or driving licence
• Confirmation of your condition and details of when it started
• Details of your GP
• The name of your workplace

When will you receive your work sickness certificate?

UK Meds provides you with two delivery options. Express delivery is available which means your order is reviewed and delivered to you on the same day you requested it between 9am and 9pm. We also provide standard delivery which means you will receive your work sickness certificate within 2 working days.
