The Eye Doctor Biodegradable Eyelid Wipes are pre-soaked in saline solution. This sterile, preservative free formula is gentle but effective at keeping the eyes and eyelids clean. Dirt, debris, and other irritants can be smoothed away from the eye, leaving eyes feeling soothed and cleansed.

Crucially, the saline solution is soap and alcohol free, and no rinsing is required after using the wipe. This means that the lipid layer of the tear film within the eye is preserved. With the lipid layer left intact, tear evaporation is prevented so that eyes do not become dry or irritated. Instead, eyes feel cooled and refreshed after use.

Each Eyelid Wipe is fully biodegradable and plastic free. The Eyelid Wipes will biodegrade in natural environments including soil, compost and fresh or marine water. The Eyelid Wipes do not require recycling.

Each Eyelid Wipe is individually wrapped to ensure it remains fresh and sterile. You should remove any contact lenses before using the Eyelid Wipes.

For the best eyelid hygiene, use the Eyelid Wipes in the following way:

• Wash your hands
• Remove one Eyelid Wipe from the sachet
• Close one or both eyes, whichever is more comfortable
• Wipe one closed eye from the nasal corner of the eye outwards towards the temple across the eyelashes • Gently repeat if required
• As the Eyelid Wipes are single use only, you must dispose of each wipe after use.

Repeat the process on the other eye with a new Eyelid Wipe.

For the best eyelid hygiene regime, the Eyelid Wipes should be used twice a day, in the morning and evening.
