Sore, dry, tired, or irritated eyes can be caused by a number of conditions and environmental factors, including:

  • Digital eye strain due to long periods of screen use including computers, tablets, or phones
  • Exposure to central heating or air conditioning
  • Smokey or dusty environments
  • Pollen and other allergens
  • Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) – dysfunction of the oil glands that line the eyelids
  • Following eye surgery.

Using Intensive Relief Eye Drops can help to soothe dry or irritated eyes caused by all of the above factors, giving fast, convenient relief when you need it.

The Eye Doctor Intensive Relief Eye Drops relieve severely irritated, dry or burning eyes quickly and effectively.

The solution within the pump action dispenser contains 0.3% sodium hyaluronate. Sodium hyaluronate is found naturally within the eyes. It helps to lubricate the eye to reduce friction during blinking, and prevents drying of the eye when the eyelid is open. This in turn helps to prevent inflammation or irritation.

Using hyaluronic acid eye drops therefore supports the eye’s natural lubrication system to soothe eyes that have become dry or irritated.

Intensive Relief Eye Drops can be used as required, up to four times each day.

The following instructions will help you to use the Eye Drops effectively:

  1. Wash your hands
  2. Remove the cap from the dispensing bottle
  3. Tilt your head back slightly and move your eye upwards
  4. Gently pull your lower eyelid downwards
  5. Hold the tip of the bottle dropper directly over the pocket created by your lower eye lid
  6. Without allowing the bottle to touch your skin, eyelid or eye, push down the dropper to dispense one drop into the lower eyelid
  7. With the eyelid closed, wait a few seconds so that the drop remains within the eye.

Repeat these steps with the other eye, and then replace the cap.

Before using the Intensive Relief Eye Drops, you should consult a doctor if you:

  • Have ever had, or are awaiting, eye surgery. In most cases, the eye drops remain a suitable choice.
  • Have eye disease including glaucoma
  • Take any medications
  • Have any allergies.

If irritation occurs when using the Eye Drops, seek medical advice
